Dr. Whittle is absolutely the most kind, caring and knowledgeable veterinarian we have had the pleasure of working with to ensure the best possible care of our dogs.
Recently he helped us with the hard choices when it was time to help our 15 year old English Bulldog pass. As hard and painful as that was for us it was done in the most kind, caring and compassionate way possible with Dr. Whittle’s help, for this we truly could not be more grateful.
We recently added a new puppy to our family and Dr. Whittle has been wonderful in seeing that this puppy starts his life being happy, healthy and getting the best possible care to ensure a long life.
Thank you to Dr. Whittle for all that you do, you are truly deserving of the title of “The Best”!

Dr. Whittle has always taken care of my pets with complete compasion, just like a mother with a new born. He understands the pets like they were his own. Even to the point when he actually new my dog was near his end and I called to tell him it was time to let him go. I called the office. It was his day off and and on the weekend, the receptionist said Dr. Whittle left me instructions to call him if you should call. He called me right back. I asked if we could do it right away before I change my mind. He told me it would be best to do it later that afternoon. He knew i needed more time with my dog that I had for 16 years. He even came over to the house to put him to sleep. The following monday I had recieved a small vase with flowers stating how sad he and the staff were about my Samson.

This clinic goes out if their way to care for my pets. They have cared for my 3 dogs and pet rat. They alway ask after the pets that are not with me. I have had to bring Lola in as an emergency and they for us in and sent s tech to the car to check her vitals. They go the extra mile even when you have to make heart wrenching decisions. Kind and hating and efficient and through.

Poe came from a neglectful rescue and the entire clinic was awesome! Typically, he is terrified of new people but was at ease with all the vets and aides. The dog had also been severely abused and used as a stud. It is clear to me he had never had toys and been let outside much. The rescue may have meant well but did not finish treating him for hookworm. The stafff was empathetic, informative and willing to ease me through the transition. I had only had Poe for a month and was shocked to find out a rescue would not properly treated a dog's illlness. They understood my financial and emotional concerns. I almost feel guilty only nomination one person! Everyone person I encounter here is amazing. Last but not least, they are reasonably priced. It is a relief to know there are still vets that care more about treating and animal than profiting immensely.

At approximately 5:00 am on Friday, February 14, 2014, while most of the residents experiencing an unusually brutal cold snap, were curled up in their beds cuddling their warmest comforters, Puppy Daisy was irritated at her owner for waking her up to use the bathroom. Only moments after I begrudgingly urged Daisy to the living room to watch television, known for suffering from insomnia, both of is sprang to life as we were alarmed by the lawyer who lived upstairs furiously banging at our front door. "We have to get out now! Fire! Fire!" Suddenly we became homeless as we watched our apartment burn to the ground. An electrical fire took everything we owned within moments as we stood with the Chaplain and Fire Chief shivering. I had nowhere to go but I had my life and the life of my beloved puppy Daisy who had just celebrated her 1st birthday days before. The only place I knew to go was to Dr McLemore's office. I had no home and now, neither did Daisy. He calmed me and said "Don't worry about Daisy. She always has a home here and for as long as it takes." As God worked things out I found a new cottage with a big back yard within two weeks and now we are enjoying a new life together. We are survivors and don't know what would have happened without Dr McLemore and his wonderful staff who gave Daisy all the love she deserved.
